Heroic pilot Sullenberger has helpful travel advice

Even though I’m middle-aged, I still want to be like Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger when I grow up.

Many of you hopefully still remember Sullenberger by name. He’s the pilot who landed the passenger get gently in the Hudson last January with nary a scratch and saved the lives of his passengers and crew with admirable precision, control and guts.

Sullenberger offers some helpful advice to travelers in USA Today about issues as common as turbulence and flight delays. It’s a good quick read.

And, to play off the old commercial, when Sully speaks, people listen – as well they should.
