Act of Fear

We can all agree that Job’s life went from good to bad to awful and then to good again. But as I mentioned on February 8, Job expected things to go wrong. It was his nature. (Job 1:4-5, MSG)

I think he spent his days in evil forebodings, anxious thoughts and that what might be.

Fear is an unpleasant feeling of anxiety or apprehension caused by the presence or anticipation of danger.
The truth is that fear is just False Evidence Appearing Real.

We fear what we cannot see and we make up its outcome in our mind.

Let me remind you of this verse.

All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings, but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast regardless of circumstances. (Proverbs 15:15, AMPC)

Prayer, God, we confess we do not trust you enough to believe your best for us. Help us Lord, for without you we drown in unrealistic sorrows. Amen.
