All For Thanksgiving

Do Christians have a common denominator? Of course we all know and believe that Jesus, the Son of God died on the cross to save us from our sins. We recognize that he rose from the dead. That is our basis.

Still, something else sets us apart and makes us visible to those around us. We are as one. Yes we are known by our love, friends.

We might be Hungarian, Chinese, Icelandic or Italian: East Indian, African or Mexican. No matter. Today is Thanksgiving. Today more than other days…we should be known by our love.

Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness (your considerateness, your forbearing spirit). The Lord is near [He is coming soon]. (Philippians 4:5, AMP)

Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others] (1 Peter 4:8, AMP).

Prayer- God, may we carry Thanksgiving into our lives tomorrow and always. Amen.
