The modern alphabet is an English version derived from the Latin alphabet which originated in or about the seventh century. The first and last letters (from the Latin) form its name. Alpha and Beta. Twenty-six little letters that form a countless number of words, that fill more books than we can count, about the Christ.
As the disciple John says: This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true. Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. (John 21:24-25, NIV)
The whole alphabet is Christ, for he is the beginning and the end.
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. (Revelation 22:13-14, NIV)
Prayer- Lord Jesus fill us with the knowledge of yourself that we might know you deeper than ever. Amen.
