Camp Songs

Those old camp songs we learned around the campfire are applicable to our faith!

The Happy Wanderer- Share with the wanderer.

(Isaiah 58:7, NIV)

Oh! What a Beautiful Morning- Blessings are new every morning.

(Lamentations 3:11, NIV)

Swing Low, Sweet Chariot- Elijah to heaven by chariot.

(2 Kings 2:11, NIV)

Dem Bones-Lord can these bones live?

(Ezekiel 37)

If You’re Happy and You Know It- Sing songs of praise.

(James 5:13, NIV)

Off We Go into the Wild Blue Yonder- Be caught up into the air.

(1 Thessalonians 4:17, NIV)

The More We Get Together- Do not forsake gathering together.

(Hebrews 10:25, NIV)

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 reminds us to keep God’s truths in front of our children.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Keep these commandments on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them (all the time).   Wear them, write them down. Or just sing them and explain to your children.
