Do I complain?
Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” (Philippians 2:14-15)
Do I lie?
The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy. (Proverbs 12:22)
Do I stay angry?
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)
Do I swear?
But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. (Matthew 12:36)
Do I use the Lord’s name in vain?
Do not swear falsely by my name and so profane the name of your God. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:12)
Do I bridle/harness my tongue?
Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. (James 1:26)
Well, do I? Do you?
