Do Right

Martin Luther King, Jr., once said, “We must use time creatively, in the knowledge that the time is always ripe to do right.”

Right is always the right thing to do, even when it doesn’t seem like it. It takes courage to do what is right all the time. Do you live with that courage or do you live in fear, afraid of doing what you know to do, simply because it is right?

Would you do differently if the pastor or your Sunday school teacher was watching? Do you only do right when you think you have an audience? Or you do wrong when you think no one is keeping an eye out for you?

Set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. ( 1Timothy 4:12b, NIV)

No matter what we think we are getting away with, someone watches and sees. Let us do right just because it is the right thing to do.

Prayer- Father, we compromise when we shouldn’t, we don’t always do what you would have us do. We are sorry. Help us get back on the right track. For Christ’s sake. Amen.
