Doing the Splits

No, I’m not talking of banana splits or gymnastic splits. I am speaking of the life we live in Christ.

Truth must take precedence over our feelings. To live in peace, our feelings and the truth must walk on the same path.

When Christ asks us to follow him, he is implying that we will have to leave something. What is he asking you to give up? Friends, following Christ is always better than what you are leaving behind. You just don’t know it yet.

Stop standing with one foot on the dock and another on the boat. This is a very funny movie skit, but not so funny if it is your life. 

“Speak to all the congregation of the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy. (Leviticus 19:2)

You are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine. (Leviticus 20:26)

It is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”  (1 Peter 1:16)
