How goes the truth-telling in your orbit? Do you dramatize every event to make the most of your moment in the conversation?
Do you embellish the truth just a teensy bit? Do you make your ordinary life sound a step above the ordinary? Folks, you are actually lying. Yes, you heard me. You are lying because your life didn’t happen that way!
Do you find your life so boring that you have to lie? Friend, tune into Jesus and get all the drama you will ever want or need! Live high in the kingdom!
But John intervened: “I’m baptizing you here in the river. The main character in this drama, to which I’m a mere stagehand, will ignite the kingdom life, a fire, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.”(Luke 3:16-17, MSG)
