Do you ever wonder if you are where you are supposed to be? God always has a purpose. It is not always for our comfort and sweet life that we find ourselves in a place or a certain situation.
Let’s examine why God took the Israelites out of their situation in Egypt. It wasn’t necessarily for their comfort.
First of all, he wanted to replace the wicked nations in the Promised Land with his own people.
Secondly, he was keeping his promise to Abraham.
Finally Moses had fasted and prayed for forty days that the people fulfill God’s will.
Have you been praying for God to make a difference in your life? Well then didn’t you expect him to do something? And so now he is and you are upset? Folks, when we pray, God moves. Are you packed and ready to go with him? If not, why did you pray that prayer?
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. (James 1:5-6, NIV)
Prayer- Lord, give us sense to react with positivity when you answer our prayers. Amen.
