Face Your Bully

The plot shows a bully attacking another person in one way or another. The happy ending shows the bullied person facing up to the bully and scaring him away. Does that really hold true?

What if we stopped running from our bullies and took them on, face-to-face? We can, you know, for this is our truth.

Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. (Isaiah 41:10, AMP)

What person, thing, or fear are we afraid of? Whatever it is, if we succumb, we give it power over us. That fear may paralyze us. That fear will undoubtedly change our future because we begin to make decisions based on avoidance.

Prayer- Lord, may we no longer fear nor be depressed, dismayed or alarmed, because the truth is that you go before us! Amen. (From Deuteronomy 31:8, AMP)
