From a Facebook Page:

Who do I believe?  All the studious, informed doctors, and well-educated medical scientists or the kids I went to school with who failed math, social studies and science and now work in a gas station?

Facebook is a lovely edition to our lives in many ways but it also gives space to people with no credentials except opinions.

Let’s examine ourselves. Do we really have the experience, history, training or education for what we say? (I might have to take down some of my Facebook posts!) You?

But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. (Galatians 6:4, NASB)

Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test? (2 Corinthians 13:5, NASB)

For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord. (1 Corinthians 4:4, NASB)

Prayer- Lord, help us see our opinions through your eyes. We want to edify, not to divide or even cause harm. Amen in the Christ!
