God Who?

When my Mom got a collect call from Ron, she said, “Ron who?” and refused the call. The trouble is that Ron and I had been married for eight years.

Just as we ought to remember our relatives, so we should remember God before we need him.

I am astonished at those who ask “Where is God” when they are in trouble but had no thought or care for God at all when everything was going well. The minute he intervenes for them, he is “God who?”, again.

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them”  (Ecclesiastes 12:1, NIV)

Prayer- Lord, bring us to remembrance of you before it is too late. In Christ who remembered us all. Amen.
