Just in the Nick of Time

I’ve had a few issues going on lately and I wasn’t handling them very well. Oh, I know we are not supposed to worry… I know that; don’t you too? But here I was, worrying about something I couldn’t control.

Then first thing this morning, my friend Pauline sent me this quote, centered in a picture of a lovely flower garden:

Don’t worry about anything, but pray about everything, with thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God.  Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel. (Philippians 4:6-7, CEV)

Well, that came just in time. I’d been awake just long enough to remember to start worrying all over again. Who blesses you with the Word of God, just in the nick of time? Say thanks!
