Do you see a lie I might be believing?
And I wonder what my dear Christian friends have been up to? They took the words personally when I just meant them as Joyce said them. Pray. Ask God if you are doing this. Do not ask me. I am only the messenger!
A messenger; why that puts me right in line with John the Baptist and Christ’s disciples.
This is the one about whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger ahead of You, Who will prepare your way before you.’ Luke 7:27, NASB)
He sent messengers on ahead of Him, and they went and entered a village of the Samaritans to make arrangements for Him. (Luke 9:52, NASB)
I guess I will take that as a compliment and keep passing on God’s word to God’s folks; and lest we get too proud in that task…remember this.
Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! (2 Corinthians 12:7, NASB)
