The faster I go the be hinder I get, especially when I am writing! . ‘Fo rthe’ is one of my most oft repeated typing errors. In my case, haste makes waste, but is that always true?
The Bible hardly ever uses the word ‘hurry’. Note that Jesus never rushed to beat a red light; short-changed one job to leap into another or even gobbled dinner so he could get back to work.
He never tried to multitask either. According to Dr. Caroline Leaf, multitasking is impossible anyway. In fact, there is no mention of Jesus hurrying to get anywhere. No, Jesus took his time and he advised us to do the same.
Whoever says he abides in Him ought [as a personal debt] to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself. (1 John 2:6, AMP)
Prayer- Lord, forgive us when we hurry our way through your world. Amen.
