See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. (Zechariah 9:9, NIV)
Did that peaceful sign of the traditionally stubborn donkey also point to our stubborn selves?

Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? (Romans 6:16, NIV)
Prayer- Lord, help us give up our stubborn ways and instead obey you from our hearts. Amen. (From Romans 6:17)
