Password Peril

Arghh! And again, I say it! Arghh! I am trying to book an on line appointment for a blood test. Don’t jump to conclusions friends, it is just a routine thing.

Still I have definitely increased my blood pressure while I try to navigate the system that will not take my password. In desperation, I finally just opened a new account with a different email. That sort of worked. I got in on my phone but not on my computer. On their computer site, I am a nothing, nobody, long-gone patient!

Do you ever struggle with password lists, forgotten or otherwise?

I am so grateful that God does not operate that way. Our one and only password to forgiveness of sin and eternal life has always been and always will be, Jesus.

I’m feeling terrible—I couldn’t feel worse! Get me on my feet again. You promised, remember?

When I told my story, you responded; train me well in your deep wisdom.

Help me understand these things inside and out so I can ponder your miracle-wonders.

My sad life’s dilapidated, a falling-down barn; build me up again by your Word.

Barricade the road that goes Nowhere; grace me with your clear revelation.

I choose the true road to Somewhere, I post your road signs at every curve and corner.

I grasp and cling to whatever you tell me; God, don’t let me down!

I’ll run the course you lay out for me if you’ll just show me how. (Psalm 119:30, MSG)

Prayer- Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for your gift of the Holy Spirit who has come to live in me and thank you for your gift of eternal life. Amen.
