Rope of Hope

There is no point in sharing all the details with you. Suffice it to say, everything was topsy-turvy here. God was calling our family to believe in Him, no matter what! One day, when we were all feeling lower than a snake’s belly, comfort arrived by phone, email and letter. I’m sharing a few of the thoughts sent to us over that 24 hours.

May Godg rant you a new consistency in faith so that you won’t worry, fret, or have any fear.

May your souls be at peace and rest amidst whatever this day may bring.

“No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.” ( 1 Corinthians 10:13 MSG)

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ (Isaiah 41:10 , NAS)

I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak. (Ezekiel 34:16a, NLT)

I am crying out to God that you feel His peace and can cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.

Fortunately, we got the message and leaned toward hope and Christ once more.

Prayer: Father God, when the floods of life threaten to drown us, remind us to grab onto the rope of hope…You. In Christ. Amen.
