Screening Your Thoughts

Is your thought life disobedient? You can change that. Start here.

  1. Where will this thought lead me?
  2. Will this thought help me get where I want to go in my life?
  3. Is this a scripturally sound thought? Will it make me a better person?
  4. Can I share this thought with another and not be embarrassed or ashamed?
  5. Does this thought make me feel guilty?
  6. Is this a thought Jesus would appreciate?
  7. We ALWAYS have the power to make the right decision.
  8. I must select or discard the thought. Choose not to think it again.
  9. You are is a direct result of your thoughts. Your thoughts are your future.
  10. We must cultivate our thoughts.  
  1. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.  Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:8-9)
