Shape Up

My friend said, “This is the only way my back doesn’t hurt,” she said. “If I stand up the pain is terrible.” The Luke 13:11 gal likely said the same thing.

And there was a woman there who for eighteen years had had an infirmity caused by a spirit (a demon of sickness). She was bent completely forward and utterly unable to straighten herself up or to look upward (Luke 13:11, AMP)

It’s hard to look up when we are looking down, isn’t it! If we look past our noses all we see is our feet and they likely need a good scrubbing.

What a picture of despair …but then…Jesus comes along.

Then He laid [His] hands on her, and instantly she was made straight, and she recognized and thanked and praised God. (Verse 13)

Jesus straightens out our kinks. All we have to do is look up.

Prayer- Lord, twist us into any position that glorifies you. We trust you never to make it worse……Amen
