Shingles

The Doctor’s receptionist asked Bill what he had. “'Shingles,” says he. She wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat.  Fifteen minutes later the nurse's aide followed the same routine, but also took his height and weight.

A half hour later, the nurse practitioner came along, again asked him what he had.. Bill replied (for the third time!)…shingles… so she gave Bill a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Bill to put on a gown and wait for the doctor.
An hour later the doctor came in and found Bill sitting patiently on a stretcher. The doctor also asked Bill what he had.

Bill said …again… “Shingles.” The doctor asked, “Where”?

And Bill said…”Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload them?’

Do you ever get the feeling no one knows what you are talking about?
