Speak Up

Singer/Actor Dennis Morgan is long gone, but his beautiful voice continues to reign in old movies like My Wild Irish Rose.

When I heard Morgan sing the theme song, I thought, “Oh God, you have given wonderful voices to so many.”

This thought slipped into my mind. “I gave you a wonderful voice too.”

I can’t sing a note… but I can write.

God gave us all a voice. We may not all sing tenor, like Morgan, but we can speak, write, vote, pray, praise and influence others for God in a thousand other ways. How best can we use our voice for God today?

In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart]. (Psalm 5:3, AMP)

Prayer-Father, give us the courage to use whatever voice you gave us. Amen
