Speechless

What does it take to make us shut our mouth? Not enough at some times and too much at another.

Today many Christians, refuse to participate vocally during praise and worship time. They simply shut their mouths.

‘I don’t sing,’ they declare, as though this was some kind of honor badge. They set themselves up for failure.

Psalm 8:2-Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence (still-KJV) the enemy and the avenger. (AMP)

Silence -to refute with arguments which are unanswerable.  (Webster’s Dictionary)

Still= SHABATH or Sabbath, meaning to repose, desist from exertion. (Strong’s Concordance)

Just think of this for a minute. Our praises silence our enemies.

Matthew 22:11-14 – “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless.

Prayer: Lord, we get so high and mighty in our beliefs. Help us remember when you take us down a peg, that it is easier to believe what you say and then do it. Amen.
