I Like to Walk with Grandma
I like to walk with Grandma, she takes small steps like mine.
She never says “let’s hurry-up! She always takes her time.
I like to walk with Grandma, her eyes see things like mine.
Shiny stones, a fluffy cloud, stars at night that shine.
People rush their whole day through, they rarely stop to see.
I’m glad that God made Grandmas unrushed and young like me! (Author: unknown)
Do you treasure moments with small children? Grandma or not, aren’t you enthralled?
They want to walk in puddles, they choose out of the way paths, they sing or laugh for no reason at all.
Thank God for the blessing of watching small ones grow up. May they never lose their sense of joy, peace and self-fulfillment. May we recapture our own
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:28-31)
