The history of rock and roll is recorded in fifty-plus hours of radio programming by the same name. It includes everything from # 1 songs and interviews to comments from the stars of the day.
However, the true rock is Jesus.
As it is written, Behold I am laying in Zion a Stone that will make men stumble, a Rock that will make them fall; but he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall not be put to shame nor be disappointed in his expectations. (Romans 9:33)
And we have the opportunity to join him.
[Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.(1 Peter 2:5, AMP)
Prayer- Lord thank you for the Rock, Jesus who died on the cross for our sins and rose again that we might have freedom from sin and eternal life. Amen
