’Healing Begins’ – Messages from God in Inspirational New Song From Tenth Avenue North

This is where the healing begins, oh
This is where the healing starts

I hold dear to the verse in scripture 
Jeremiah 29:11 For I Know The Plans I Have For You.

I am convinced that God has Big Plans for my life and yours.
It is so obvious, if you are looking for it.

Everything I have experienced, seen, heard or felt, in some way or another, God has used to help others
There are so many things I wish I could just erase from my bio, things I wish I hadn't gone through, 
but I know, as I hope you do, that these tests through life only cause us to be stronger and more equipped to do what God has planned for us next.

The Apostle Paul says in Hebrews 13:20-21 (NIV), ^“May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

And James goes on to say in James 1:2-5 (NIV), Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 

As much as I would have preferred not to have gone through tests and trials, I have, and God had a reason behind it all or allowed it all to happen so that He could get the glory from it.

I've been inspired by “Healing Begins” from the Christian music group Tenth Avenue North.

Tenth Avenue North is climbing the charts with their new album, “The Light Meets the Dark.”

The message behind this album and the song Healing Begins is clear. Don't live by others expectations. Live for God. This is where the Healing Begins. Do everything as though working for the Lord.

“Whatever you do, work at it with your whole heart, as working for the Lord, not for men.” Colossians 3:23 (NIV)

Healing Begins is a beautiful song about letting the walls down. Don't pretend. Be real. Be honest. Let people see the imperfections. Make friends. Build relationships. Don't be afraid of getting hurt by other people. Don't let fear of being judged or condemned by others consume and captivate you in this dark world. Break free and let His Light meet and overcome the dark.
