Thoughts

• He’s all hat and no cattle. (Texas saying meaning the guy is all talk and no substance/truth)
• Uptight gets you nothing but girdle marks
• It is never to late to mend and it is never too soon to mend
• Perhaps you cannot be a star but you don’t have to be a cloud.
• The lowest ebb comes when the tide is turning.
• Thank God that hind sight is better than foresight; otherwise we would never learn a thing.
• We get what we deserve because we get what we go after.

These ‘wise’ sayings may be what God is talking about here.

For this world’s wisdom is foolishness (absurdity and stupidity) with God, for it is written, He lays hold of the wise in their [own] craftiness; And again, The Lord knows the thoughts and reasonings of the [humanly] wise and recognizes how futile they are. (1 Corinthians 3:19-20, AMP)

Prayer – God, we get lots of ideas. They sound wonderful until we measure them against your standards. Sorry. Amen
