On July 15, we had a tornado touchdown in our area. It raged for about 15 minutes and caused huge damages but thankfully, no loss of life.
Some might say this.
The rain came, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. (Matthew 7:25)
But this is also true.
He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:45)
And then this.
Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. (Matthew 24:40, AMPC)
Friends, there is no way that we can justify earthly disasters to suit ourselves. They come as they will. Let’s stop spouting scripture and instead help those affected by the awful effects of all kinds of life storms.
