I have learned not to take people’s comments too seriously. Sometimes they hurt and while we can take the truth with a grain of salt, we don’t need to overdose on it!
Take our online activity, for instance. We get offers to revamp our site or buy weird stuff no one in their right mind would want. We might get threats and people trying to con us into giving away cash.
Some disparage the Word of God or mock our beliefs or just like to argue. When we concentrate on that kind of trash, we do not move ahead into our own growth.
Friends, sometimes you have to walk away from the drama critics, the crazy makers and the creators of chaos. When you walk away from the wrong users of your time you will find folks who will laugh with you, remember the good and treat you well.
All we can do for the trashers is to pray for them and leave the rest up to God.
Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15: 12:14, NIV)
Prayer- Father God, help us move in the right direction, always toward you. Amen.
