Did you know that a fall is defined as an unintentional event that causes a person to be on the floor without their feet bearing their weight? Or that a near fall happens when a person loses their balance but catches themselves before they fall to the floor?
Or that a fall is the second leading cause of hospital admissions for all ages and can lead to severe injury or even death? Even more frightening, one in three people over age 65 fall at least once a year and sometimes oftener?
The good news is that most falls can be prevented. The same is true of spiritual falls.
For You have delivered my life from death, yes, and my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life and of the living. (Psalm 56:13, AMP)
The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who are falling and raises up all those who are bowed down. (Psalm 145:14, AMP)
Prayer – Grab onto us Lord, for we reach out to you. Amen.
