Where Do you Cry Tear Water Tea? (Part 2)

Where do you cry? Where do you keep your kettle?

Is it stored in the privacy of your bedroom?

I am worn out from my groaning. All night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.(Psalm 6:6, NIV)

Is it in the private grief of the loss of a spouse?

“Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears. (Ezekiel 24:16, NIV)

Or is it over a lonely meal?

For I eat ashes as my food and mingle my drink with tears. (Psalm 102:9)

Weeping alone can be helpful but only for a little while. It can become a major depression which is extremely hard to fight alone.  Take your tears to God and to a good friend, a counselor or a faithful listener.

Prayer-Lord, we are stumbling in the depths of aloneness right now. You hear us and we are grateful but God, today we also ask that you send us someone with skin on. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
