In case yesterday’s thoughts on thinking seemed impossible, here are some additional helps.
First of all, after we asked Jesus to be our Lord and Saviour and forgive our sins, God gives us
the mind of Christ.
Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
(1 Corinthians 2:16)
Ask yourself where your thoughts are coming from. Is it past anger, greed, envy or something
worse? Where will that thinking get you? Where will that thinking take you? Is it a Godly
thought?
Is your thought a Biblical thought? Is it true to scripture? Will it encourage you or others or drag
you down into the depths of despair?
What would others think if they knew your thoughts?” Would you even dare share those
thoughts with your best friend?
Does that very thought cause you to feel guilty? How does your thought fit into the life of a
Christ follower?
Here is the truth. You have the power to change your thoughts. You have the power to make a
right, honourable and good decision. You can choose your thoughts and God willing, you will
choose thoughts that bless you and others.
