Why Am I Here?

When the winter doldrums hit, our hearts sometimes sink into sadness. We’re eating too much, it’s too cold to exercise and we languish in boredom, forgetting the truth about our creation.
Many people really suffer from light deprivation and sit under special lighting when they can.

Machines never come with any extra parts, you know. …So I figured, if the entire world was one big machine, I had to be here for some reason. And that means you have to be here for some reason too.” – Hugo Cabret, from Hugo movie.

No matter our life issues, remember that we are created for a purpose and we are to live it out.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. (Psalm 139:13-15, NIV)

Prayer- Father God, help us find our particular niche in your plan and be encouraged while we live it out. Amen.
