Will You Go?

Clive Palmer, a billionaire from Australia is building a replica of the Titanic. The ship is to set sail in 1916. Apparently lots of folks have already signed on for the journey. Would you go?

What causes our fascination with the past anyway? Why does it lure us so? Of course we should know our history.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us. (Romans 15:4a, NIV)

But do we really want to repeat it?

For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.(1 Peter 4:3, NIV)
