Winning Side

Every person who believes that Jesus is, in fact, the Messiah, is God-begotten.
The reality test on whether or not we love God’s children is this:
Do we love God?  Do we keep his commands?
The proof that we love God comes when we keep his commandments.
And (those commandments) are not at all troublesome.

Every God-begotten person conquers the world’s ways.
The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith.
The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God. (From 1John 5:1:4-5, MSG)

Ask yourself. Is this me? Do I believe that Jesus is the Son of God?  Not sure?

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. (Mark 9:23-24, KJV)

Prayer – Father, open our eyes so that we might see and our hearts so that we might believe! Amen
