You don’t really need me to tell you this. You know you know the truth of it but here I go again, reminding you of God’s truth so you won’t fall on the journey.
The Old Testament says:
[If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which] I command you today, to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His ordinances, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land into which you go to possess. (Deuteronomy 30:16, AMP)
And yep—there it is in the New Testament as well:
And you shall love the Lord your God out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. (Mark 12:30, AMP)
Prayer- Father God, forgive your obstinate disobedient children for not remembering and acting on the truth. Amen.
