Sealed

Hubby used to say I was the queen of tape because I seal every parcel as tightly as possible. The other day, after the clerk weighed my items, I found a couple of areas uncovered. I bought tape and added more to the item. Finally I handed it back to the clerk. She looked at the parcel, then at me, and again at the parcel and said… “I should have waited to weigh this until after you taped it.” Suffice to say, no parcel from me to you will ever be ripped open on a corner unless it meets a bulldog.

Dozens of people determined to seal Christ’s tomb to prevent him rising from the dead. (Matthew 27:62-66). It didn’t work

Matthew 28:2-8-And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled the boulder back and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his garments as white as snow.

And those keeping guard were so frightened at the sight of him that they were agitated and they trembled and became like dead men.But the angel said to the women, Do not be alarmed and frightened, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, Who was crucified.

He is not here; He has risen, as He said [He would do]. Come, see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.So they left the tomb hastily with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples (AMP).

Are you still ignoring the fact that Christ rose from the dead on the third day? That He is the son of God with God’s own holy nature? That he can and does save us from our sins? That he promises eternal life to all who have a personal relationship with him?

The resurrection is a well-documented historical event. Stop denying the truth.

Prayer: Lord, thank you that all we have to do is cry out, - “Lord, save me!” and you will stretch out your hand, catch us and ask us “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” In Jesus' name. Amen. (from Matthew 14:30:32).
