Right or Left?

Because the Bible mentions that Eglon was a very fat man (Judges 3:17) and since fat is one of my favorite topics, I am pleased to share this tidbit with you. Research shows that if we use our non-dominant hand to eat, we will swallow about 30% less food!
So if you are trying to lose weight, lefties switch to the right hand and righties lean to the left. For me, that means picking up my fork with my right hand. It sure feels awkward. Food falls off the plate onto my lap. Mmmm, maybe that is the whole idea. Vice-versa yourselves and maybe lose a bunch of pounds, unless we get into a discussion about the five seconds on the floor rule…
Of course none of us would ever vice-versa when the Bible gives clear instructions like this.
Isaiah 30:21-And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left (AMP).
Matthew 6:3-4-But when you give to charity, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, So that your deeds of charity may be in secret; and your Father Who sees in secret will reward you openly (AMP).
Proverbs 4:26-27-Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil (AMP).
Prayer: Lord, give us the common sense to recognize truth…and follow through. In Christ's name. Amen.
