So you are doing the Halloween thing again this year?
Leviticus 19:26- You shall not eat anything with the blood; neither shall you use magic, omens, or witchcraft [or predict events by horoscope or signs and lucky days].
1 Samuel 15:23b-For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim (household good luck images) (AMP).
Deuteronomy 18:10-Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft. (NIV)
2 Chronicles 33:6-He burned his own sons in a sacrificial rite in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. He practiced witchcraft and fortune telling. He held séances and consulted spirits from the underworld. Much evil—in God’s view a career in evil. And God was angry.
So what’s that you said about celebrating Halloween?
Prayer: Lord, give us the common sense to stay as far away from the underworld as we possibly can. In Christ’s name. Amen.
