Movie star Bridgett Bardot says that it’s sad to grow old, but nice to ripen!
There are certain fruits that become different with age, not just moldy, rotten and unusable. Grapes can become raisins and plums become prunes. Oh they have wrinkles but in spite of that they are quite tasty.
In North America, we fear age so we spend a fortune on wrinkle cream and plastic surgery.
What if we let ourselves age gracefully into our real selves? What if the love and tragedy and sweetness of our living just stayed on our face for all to see? Surely God meant wrinkles to have purpose!
Have you suffered so many things and experienced so much all for nothing (to no purpose)—if it really is to no purpose and in vain? (Galatians 3:4, AMP)

All the face creams and plastic surgery in the world cannot disguise the real you.
Prayer-Lord, may our wrinkles show your pathway through our life. Amen.
