Ever drive little children on a long journey while they constantly query…”Daddy, are we there yet?” Don’t we beg the same question of God as we journey through life?
“Are we there yet Daddy?”
He answers, “No. This journey is forever where we go.”
“Are there dangers as we travel?”
“It is a lonely way. I will be right beside you each and every day.”
“Who will meet us in the evening as we cross the shifting sand?”
“Never fear for an instant. I will hold your outstretched hand.”
“Will the darkness overtake us with a clinging veil of fear?”
“I will light the way before you. Trust Me, I am always near.”

This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” (Romans 8:15a, MSG)
Prayer – Dear Father God, thank you for being our Daddy… in charge of the journey. Amen
