Are we there yet? Do your children ever ask that question? Mine did, and now the grandkids too! Lately though it has taken on a new meaning for me… because I have arrived. Oh, not at the destination I had in mind, but this one… my weakness… at the Lord’s feet.
“When we pray for the Spirit’s help … we will simply fall down at the Lord’s feet in our weakness. There we will find the victory and power that comes from His love.” – Andrew Murray
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:14-16, NIV)
Prayer – Here we are Lord, weak as kittens, depending on your strength to get us through! Amen
