Beep, Beep, Beep

Yes, I know you can see how this is going to turn out, can’t you? My dining room is beeping… somewhere… and I can’t figure it out. I just solved that tooth brush issue and now I’m struggling with the living room.

I unplugged the smoke alarm. Beep, beep and more beep. I tried the carbon monoxide sensor. Beep, beep and more beep. I unplugged stuff that didn’t run on batteries! Beep, beep and MORE BEEP!

Finally my son-in-law figured out that the furnace temperature gauge needed a battery. I mean really!

Why is it that when things wear down they give us warning, but when we wear down we don’t know enough to sit down and recharge? Yes this is a repeat message from yesterday–different gadget, same problem.

Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord. (Psalm 27:14, AMP)

Prayer – Okay Lord, here we are, back again, same problem. Us running under our own strength… forgive us and help us get started aright. Amen
