Yes I made the good and right decision to ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. However I rushed into all sorts of messes I could have avoided by just keeping my mouth shut!
We all generally know the answers to our problems but we like to talk them out and perhaps place the blame of our decision on somebody else.
It might be a smart thing to ask your self these questions. “Why am I talking? What am I contributing to the conversation? Is it worthwhile or just selfish? Why don’t I sit here with my mouth shut for a while?
The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God’s word]. (Lamentations 3:25, AMP)
Note the waiting does not include the yapping, blabbing or whining we are most famous for.
Prayer- Lord, today we choose to listen, not moving our lips at all, except to pray. Amen.
