Caught in the Middle

There is a good deal of talk about the sandwich generation. It describes the folks caught between raising children and caring for aging parents. As much as I like a good sandwich this one was not very tasty to me.

Yes I have been there. In fact we all spend our lives sandwiched in more ways than one.

Will I be honest and report that money to the authorities or will I keep it for myself?

Will I eat that second helping or be aware of my waist line?

Will I correct my children or will I let them grow up to be rude and insensitive adults?

It is required living for the holy child of God. Will we or won’t we be the kind of people God asks us to be?

He promises that we can be all that we can be. We just have to take the plunge and believe what he says and act on it. He always gives us the strength to do that.

And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief. (Mark 9:24, KJV)

Print this verse out, stick it everywhere and read it aloud every day.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:13, KJV)

Prayer- Lord, thank you for the strength to help us make the right decisions in every sandwich of life. Amen.
