Christmas Scams

Scammers take extra special advantage in the holiday season… I guess it is their gift to themselves. Their tricks include fake online stores, or posing as a big box store and using a slightly misspelled address, one just slightly off the original.

Beware emails supposedly from your bank or a shipment company. They are after your credit and password details. They tamper with gift coupons so that your gift card to your nephew might actually be worthless.

To top it all off, they pose as a charity and you donate to their welfare, not some struggling child in a third world country. Don’t get scammed!

Leaders who know their business and care keep a sharp eye out for the shoddy and cheap, For who among us can be trusted to be always diligent and honest? (Proverbs 20:8-9, MSG)

Prayer – Thanks God that we can trust your Word never to scam us. Amen
