Cling On

But cling to the Lord your God as you have done to this day. (Joshua 23:11, AMP)

Why?  Let’s review the basics. God gives the victory, in spite of overwhelming odds. So what if you tried before and failed? So what if you slipped on this particular journey?

If we are able to put to flight the strength of 1000 strong men, surely we can overcome the one thing that interferes with our relationship with God.

For the Lord has driven out from before you great and strong nations; and as for you, no man has been able to withstand you to this day.

One man of you shall put to flight a thousand, for it is the Lord your God Who fights for you, as He promised you. Be very watchful of yourselves, therefore, to ^[b]love the Lord your God.

Prayer:  Lord may we never forget that ‘greater is he that is in us, than he who is in the world. Amen
