Did You Know That…

  • Psalm 118 is the middle chapter of the Bible.
  • Psalm 117 is the shortest chapter in the Bible.
  • Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible.
  • There are 594 chapters before Psalm 118.
  • There are 594 chapters after Psalm 118.
  • If you add up all the chapters except Psalm 118, you get 1,188 chapters.
  • Total chapters = 1188 and Psalm 118:8 is the middle verse of the Bible.

And Psalm 118:8 says it all:

 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans.(Psalm 118:8, NIV)

And some people have the nerve to think that God doesn’t know what he is doing! Hah!
