Did you know that it takes about five quarts of milk to make a pound of cheese? Did you know there is a national toaster day, or that national hiccup day is March 16? (I missed it but you can put it on the calendar for next year!)
Did you know that a congregation in Glasgow, Scotland sings the most amazing song at this address?
Did you know that many children around the world died before the age of six until Louis Pasteur figured out how to process milk? Or that thousands die of flu every year, right in our own back yard, even though there is a flu vaccine available?
Smart decisions are based on truths not empty talk. Take Peter for example.
As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (He did not know what he was saying.) (Luke 9:33, NIV)
Did you know this truth, that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on the cross and rose from the dead so that your sins could be forgiven?
Prayer – Father God, help us make decisions based on truthful facts. Amen
